Have you ever wanted to learn about mushrooms, or even take it a step further and forage for your own wild mushrooms?

Well this is the event for you!

Join Kate Grigg AKA The Wild Food Huntress as she takes you on a journey of mushroom mayhem in her Mushroom masterclass! Armed with her basket of pre foraged mushrooms, Kate will talk about a wide range of Fungi related topics and will be able to answer any questions you may have. After which you will be heading off into the forest to see what is lurking on the forest floor. As an added bonus you will get to sample a range of wild pre foraged mushrooms including honey fungus, ink caps, pine mushrooms to name a few. Kate has a large following across Australia through her Facebook groups, Foraging Australia and Mushroom Foragers of South Australia as well as being contacted by many Australian chefs, professional and amateur foragers and people who want accurate identification of plants and fungi they have found. Kate regularly hosts events for councils, wineries and the food industry as well as hosting her own events like this one!

This is a non pick event but after the event you are obviously free to take the knowledge you have gained to do some forging on your own. Remember this is winter so please dress for the occasion and bring a chair if you wish!

You are also encouraged to bring in Mushrooms for identification!
